For this case the general expression for a parabola is given by:

y- k= a(x-h)^2

From the info given we know that h = 1 and k= 2

And replacing we got:

y -2 = a(x-1)^2

And replacing the point given we got:

6-2 = a(3-1)^2

4= 4a

a=1

And the equation would be given by:

y-2 = (x-1)^2
