The length of a side of a square is √7 cm. What is the perimeter of the square? (Perimeter = the distance around the outside of a shape)

Since the square has 4 sides, you only have to add [tex] \sqrt{7} [/tex] four times.

The perimeter of the square is: [tex] 4 \cdot \sqrt{7} = 10.6 [/tex] cm
