First find slope with slope formula and your two points .

(-1,4) and (-4,2)

M=y2-y1/x2-x1

M=2-4/-4-(-1)

M=-2/-3

M= 2/3

Now substitute your slope and one of the points to equation on the line formula to find b.

Y=mx+B and using m=2/3 and (-1,4).

Y=mx+b

4=2/3(-1)+B

4= - 2/3+b

4+ 2/3=B

14/2=B

So now put your answers slope and b to make equation.

Y= 2/3x +14/2
